My School
Here are a bunch of differnet views from outside and inside my college here. It's called Høgskolen i Lillihammer. It translates to college in Lillihammer, so nothing too special, but the main building is very large and cool looking. Since you can't be here to see it, I'll take you on a little tour with these pictures.

View From Bottom of Front Stairs
Here's what you see as you come down from large wooden steps inside the front door. There are about five different levels throughout the building. This building was put up for the Olympics in '94 for the media. So, all of the broadcasts you saw for the Olympics came from within this building. It also has a very large bomb shelter downstairs where the humble weightroom is. It's comforting walking past the foot and a half thick cement slab door as I walk in to workout! |
Main Entrance of the School
This is where we come into the building everyday. I have no clue what this statue out front symbolizes, but it is interesting never the less. The building doesn't look that big from here, but it is on a slope and this is only the top floor. |

View From in Front of the Caffeteria
There are a couple large staircases inside the main part of the building like the ones in the back left. There are also elevators up the one side of the stairs too, but I try to resist the temptation and climb the large staircases in front that are all wood paneled. They look really nice.....for stairs. All kinds of events or other student programs are posted around this area, and the caffeteria is just to the right. The food is quite good. It is a la cart style, which is a change from Luther, but we're used to it now. |
